Welcome to the home of the Gunnison Valley’s new Trailhead Childrens' Discovery Museum!
Saturday, Jan. 30, 11:00 a.m.Special Guest: CB Library!Special Activity: Puppet Making! Jen from the CB Library is coming to The Trailhead for a special STORY TIME and PUPPET MAKING event. Join us as we explore the wonderful literary world of Jan Brett. And we will then make puppets inspired by her adventurous characters! This is truly a special morning you won't want to miss!
LIGHT and SHADOW Together with Puppet-Making All Week:The Dark Room is our science and fun lab as we experiment with light and shadow. Play with the special Shadow Puppet theatre, have fun with your own shadow, and let's see what kind of cool shadow art we can make!

New Hours: Monday and Tuesday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday thru Sunday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Create With Kelly! Friday, Jan. 29, starting at 10:00 a.m. Printmaking - Round 2! Kelly has carved up some fresh and fun new prints for all the Trailhead artists. Come make your masterpiece with the various new prints! Then create your original background art to compliment the print.
