Scheduled Exhibits for Winter 2009/2010

Indoor Playset "Playpark"
Our centerpiece exhibit is an enormous indoor jungle gym, complete with slide, tunnel, climbing wall, pulley, ropes, ladders, windows, telescope, and FUN!  This is designed for chldren 8 and under as a place to scamper, crawl, and climb on, no matter the weather outside this winter!

Portable Puppet Theatre & Accompanying Puppets, plus scenery design see-thru art easels. Take your favorite indigenous critter and make it come alive through hand puppets.

Creation Station & “Yuck” Zone
An Art Area with a daily do-it-yourself project.  Get messy, get creative, get going with art.  The “Yuck” Zone will be a weekly get-really-messy area with a scientific twist.

Tots-in-Motion
A movement area designed for children ages 0-3 years, with age appropriate interactive equipment.  This class will be held in the CB South Sunset Hall, Monday and Friday mornings at 10 - 11 a.m. throughout the winter.  Cost is $3 or FREE with a Trailhead Family membership.

Indoor Sandbox - THE DIG PIT!
A sandless sandbox?  A place to dig inside?  YES!  The Dig Pit is ready to go with shovels, funnels, trucks, and more - just add your imagination – while the snow blows sideways outside.
